Choosing a plastic surgeon who demonstrates the superior skills, integrity, and reputation for superlative results that would make you comfortable in knowing that you have made the right decision is so important. The process should involve more than just a detailed internet search which may present more marketing hype, price teasers, and an offering of the latest unproven technology. Instead, your search should help you select an experienced surgeon who will be sensitive to your needs and who can handle that rare emergency. You should know your physician's qualifications and credentials and only select a surgeon who is fully trained and (ABMS) board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery.
